Conservation Awards Banquet

 

NEVADA CONSERVATION ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM 

The Nevada Wildlife Federation is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Nevada State Conservation Awards. The Conservation Achievement Program is designed to recognize and encourage outstanding achievement in environmental education, the conservation of Nevada's natural resources and the enhancement of our natural environment.

Recognition is given for exceptional accomplishment and effort by private citizens, government officials, civic and fraternal organizations, communications media and corporations. Through a broad program of public information and education the Nevada Wildlife Federation stimulates and encourages increased interest and activities in the wise management of natural resources and the prevention of environmental degradation.

Individuals and organizations are urged to submit one or more nominations for conservation awards. Awards will be presented at the Nevada Wildlife Federation's Conservation Awards Banquet, Saturday  May 15, 2010 at Clark County Shooting Park, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Award Categories include:

Conservationist of the Year

Wildlife Conservationist of the Year

Conservation Organization of the Year Youth

Conservation Educator of the Year

Conservation Legislator of the Year Soil

Conservationist of the Year Water Forest

Communicator of the Year

Hunter Educator of the Year

State Energy/Air Conservationist of the Year
