Women and the Outdoors Weekend

Cabela’s is planning a Women and the Outdoors Weekend August 14-15 with most of the activities set for Saturday the 14th with a full day of free seminars and activities geared toward women getting out and enjoying all the outdoors has to offer.

This day-long series of seminars will run from 10 am to 3 pm and will cover how to select your first gun, go over camping equipment and where to go, discuss Nevada’s big game and wildlife, include an outdoor clothing fashion show during a hosted lunch, talk about fishing basics, give some hiking tips and safety ideas, demonstrate pepper spray and self-defense and give an introduction to CCW.

We are looking for women in your organizations who might have some interest in coming to this free day of fun and information. Please help us pass the word – either forward this on to those female friends, staff and members who would find this of interest, post on your web sites and include in your enewsletters. Anyone interested should pre-register by calling Cabela’s at (775) 829-4100.

We’re providing a complimentary lunch for all attendees and presenters and including a coupon to Cabela’s as well as a few small gift items. Should you have any questions, please contact me at (775) 829-4128 or via email at james.klund@cabelas.com

Hopefully we will see many of your female friends, staff and members at Cabela’s Women and the Outdoors Day on Saturday, Aug. 14. The tentative schedule is below for your reference. Thanks in advance for any help in promoting this to your female staff, friends and members. A couple of dates to remember for setting up booths at our store to promote your organization would be our largest promotions of the year with Fall Great Outdoor Days I August 21-22 and Fall Great Outdoor Days II August 28-29.
